Open Source Release of Symbian iTV Client in January 2008

by swagner last modified 2009-01-17 12:11

The code of the S60 Symbian development for our mobile interactive TV client will be made public as Open Source by January 30, 2008

As part of the AMUSE 2.0 project, we have developed a software based on Symbian OS 9.1 for Nokia S60 3rd edition devices such as E61, E61i and N92. The main aim was to have a video player user interface featuring an integrated HTML browser for interactivity. This software is now going to be released as open source!
Note: another ongoing project is porting this client to the Mobile Linux platform Maemo which is used on the Nokia N800/N810.

See project information on MIVIBES project overview.
